Andrew is currently the CEO of Photrade.com, a web 2.0 photography site focused on photographers who want to make money from their photos and publications who need free images.
Andrew formerly worked for Fort Washington Capital Partners. While there, he completed numerous investments, deploying more than $75M in private equity. At FWCP, his investment experience focused on the venture capital space. Prior to FWCP, Andrew worked for The Watermill Group, a Boston-based private equity LBO firm. At Watermill, Andrew was involved in closing multiple leveraged buyouts totaling over $250M in transaction value. Prior to Watermill, Andrew was a business analyst for both an international arbitrage firm, The Northeast Pine Company, and BioActive Technologies, a New Zealand-based Biotech firm. He started his finance career with the Georgetown Federal Credit Union and also worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston as well as the Digital Federal Credit Union.
Andrew received his Bachelors of Arts in English Literature, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and his Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from University of Auckland in New Zealand. He enjoys skiing/snowboarding, rock climbing, tennis and reading.
